CERTIFIED STRAINS
All the supplied by NBIMCC reference strains are periodically tested for viability and purity.
The frequently ordered strains are subjected to more detailed studies according to validated procedures of ISO 9001:2015. These strains have been checked for cell morphology, colony appearance and biochemical profile with commercial polymicrotests and other identification systems such as BioMerieux (API, Vitek, MALDI-TOF), Biolog, Remel, Lachema, etc., as well as with some additional biochemical or serological tests. We described these strains as "certified reference strains". They are provided with a detailed certificate.
The certified strains include control microorganisms with equivalent WDCM number, teaching strains, some type and often used microbial cultures. The number of certified strains is steadily increasing. Look also at sections Quality control strains and Teaching strains.
